US: Donald Trump’s Rally Sees Another Security Scare After Assassination Bid, Man Storms Media Area — Watch

A man was tasered and escorted away by the police for breaching security during Donald Trump's rally in Pennsylvania on Friday.

Weeks after former US President Donald Trump survived an assassination attempt duing a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, another security breach occurred at his rally on Friday — this time in the state's Johnstown city. However, the police and sheriff's deputies present at the rally acted swiftly and subdued the man was a Taser. As the man was being escorted away from the spot, Trump quipped, "Is there anywhere that's more fun to be than a Trump rally?"

The incident took place just moments after Trump slammed media outlets for "unfavourable coverage". He also criticised CNN over his recent interview with Democratic rival Kamala Harris and her running mate Tim Walz, according to a report by the Associated Press.

In a video of the incident that has surfaced on social media, the man can be seen jumping over a bicycle rack around the media area to climb the platform where the press, including television reporters and cameras were stationed. The police officers, along with the people nearby, can be seen pulling him off the stage, before he was tasered and taken away.

Moments later, another man in the crowd was arrested by the police and escorted out of the area. However, it is unknown whether he was detained in connection with the initial security breach incident.

Sharing the video of the breach, podcaster George Behizy, who was present at the Trump rally, wrote: "A Deranged Democrat tried to breach the security at Trump’s rally in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, and got dealt with BEAUTIFULLY by the cops.”

"They surrounded, and got him out of there within SECONDS!" he added.

In July, Trump was targeted at his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, in an apparent assasination attempt, which left him bloodied. Panic ensued as several gunshots were fired at him at the rally. Although he managed to escape the attack, he was shot in the ear as a bullet grazed through it. An attendee was killed and two others were critically injured in the attack.

Later, the FBI identified and arrested the 20-year-old shooter Thomas Matthew Crooks, who had attacked Trump from an elevated position outside the rally venue. The attack was said to be a serious attempt to assassinate a presidential candidate or former president since Ronald Reagan was shot in 1981.
