UK Police posts picture of theft suspect, netizens think he is Ross Geller from F.R.I.E.N.D.S

New Delhi: UK police’s Facebook post with the picture of a theft suspect has left the internet baffled. The cops shared the image of suspect on social media hoping for some help from the users, but the suspect bore such stark similarity with actor David Schwimmer who played Ross Geller in the famous sitcom F.R.I.E.N.D.S that the netizens flooded the comments with jokes from the series. The police department shared a CCTV still of a man with a post that read, “Do you recognise this man? We want to speak to him in relation to a theft at a Blackpool restaurant on the 20th September.” In response, netizens expressed possibilities that the man could be Ross Geller. Fans of the sitcom then started posting jokes from the popular series. In the middle of all fun, the UK Police commented that they have confirmed the whereabouts of Schwimmer. The Blackpool Police commented: “Thank you to everyone for your speedy responses. We have investigated this matter thoroughly and have confirmed that David Schwimmer was in America on this date.
