Pakistan's social media sensation arrested for allegedly uploading obscene videos
New Delhi: A social media sensation and vlogger from Pakistan named Nasir Khanjan was arrested by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KBK) Police on Wednesday.
A picture went viral in the country's social media outlets showing Khanjan in handcuffs. He was later released on bail by the admin of another Facebook page called Zahreeli Chummi.

His version of popular hit 'Closer' attracted him lot of criticism. The video went viral as most users found it funny and not melodic. (WATCH BELOW)
"It is shameful that police arrests anyone for no reason," he said in a video message
Reports say the reason behind his arrest was posting of obscene videos through his social accounts.
“I fear people will kill me,” he had one said in interview to Tribune newspaper.
He has pleaded for security as he claims to have received numerous death threats from his community men in the conservative KBK region denouncing his sexual orientation.
Recently another online sensation Taher Shah had to shift to an undisclosed location following death threats. Last year, Qandeel Baloch, a popular social media celebrity was killed mercilessly by her own brother at their residence.
