New Delhi: After India struck down Pakistan Air Force f-16 jet in retaliation to its aerial violations on Wednesday, Prime Minister of the country Imran Khan again proposed India for dialogue and repeated that Islamabad is ready to cooperate with New Delhi over Pulwama terror attack investigation.
Emphasising that war is not in interest of anyone, Khan said: “If a war takes place, it will not be in my or Narendra Modi's control. If you want any kind of talks on terrorism, we are ready. Better sense must prevail. We should sit down and talk.”
Imran Khan was addressing the people of the country through Radio Pakistan. He started “After Pulwama incident, we had told India that we are ready for any kind of investigation.”
“I understand the pain of people affected by violence. That is why we had offered all sort of cooperation to the country."
Addressing India, khan said : “All the major wars that have been fought in the history began with miscalculation, with the kind of weapons that both the countries possess, can we risk any miscalculation?”
“I once again invite you to sit down and talk . Pakistan is ready to discuss all topics including terrorism and Pulwama attack,”he said.
Against India’s Counter Terrorism Action on JeM camps in Balakot on Tuesday, Pakistan responded this morning by using its Air Force to target military installations on the Indian side. Due to the state of readiness and alertness, Pakistan’s attempts were foiled successfully by India.
In the aerial engagement, one Pakistan Air Force fighter aircraft was shot down by a MiG 21 Bison of the Indian Air Force. The Pakistani aircraft was seen by ground forces falling from the sky on the Pakistan side.
