'Love My Father Very Much', But...: Ivanka Trump Says She Won't Be Part Of Donald Trump’s 2024 Campaign

Ivanka Trump decided to not actively participate in her father's campaign to win the White House in 2024.

Ivanka Trump decided to not actively participate in her father's campaign to win the White House in 2024. She said that she has chosen "to prioritise my young children and the private life we are developing as a family."

Donald Trump announced his third presidential campaign for the Republican nomination on Tuesday night at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida. Members of his family, including his wife, Melania, and son Eric were present but neither Ivanka nor Donald Trump Jr. attended the ceremony. Though, Ivanka’s husband, Jared Kushner, was in attendance.

Ivanka said in a statement, “I love my father very much. This time around, I am choosing to prioritize my young children and the private life we are creating as a family. I do not plan to be involved in politics.”

“While I will always love and support my father, going forward I will do so outside the political arena. I am grateful to have had the honor of serving the American people and will always be proud of many of our administration’s accomplishments,” she added.

Ivanka and Kushner moved to an expensive mansion in Florida, Miami after spending four years in Washington D.C. and serving as a senior adviser in the White House during the Trump administration. 

Ivanka and Kushner, have three children — Arabella, 11, Joseph, 9, and Theodore, 6. 

Ivanka promoted policies that supported economic opportunities for working families when she served in the Trump administration, including paid family leave, doubling the child tax credit, child care assistance, and education and job development.
