China, Taiwan Reject Claims Of Shooting Down Of Chinese Sukhoi Fighter Jet By Taiwanese Forces After Video Goes Viral
Taiwan issued a press release later on Friday, stating that the Air Force Command solemnly refuted the claims as false information, and completely untrue.
New Delhi: Taiwan and China both have refuted the reports which claimed shooting down of Chinese Sukhoi Su-35 by Taiwan’s air defence system.
Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense on Friday dismissed the reports calling it a malicious act, following the social media spread which claimed that China’s Sukhoi Su-35 fighter plane was shot down by the country’s air defence system.

It issued a press release later on Friday, stating that the Air Force Command solemnly refuted this day that this is false information, and completely untrue.
It said it strongly condemns such malicious acts by deliberately creating and disseminating false and false information on the Internet in an attempt to confuse the audience.
Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of China also issued a statement which read: “In response to the Internet spread of "Taiwan shot down a CCP SU-35 aircraft?" Air Force Command solemnly refuted today that this is false information, and completely untrue.

Air Force Command pointed out that it strongly condemns such malicious acts by deliberately creating & disseminating false information on the Internet in an attempt to confuse the audience, the Ministry of National Defense of Republic of China was quoted as saying by news agency ANI.
It is to be noted that China’s relations with Taiwan have been strained as President Xi Jinping is interested in reclaiming the island nation which currently is a self-governing country. The video which surfaced claimed that Chinese fighter plane was shot as it attempted an incursion in Taiwanese airspace.
