BIZARRE! Man steals dead neighbour's bank card, buys Domino's pizzas worth 6000 pounds
The man named Robert Sharkey broke into Marie Conlon’s house in August 2015 and stole her bank card after realising she was dead. He then used the card to pay his phone bills, buy groceries and spent 6000 pounds on Domino's Pizzas.
New Delhi: In a weird incident, a man stole his dead neighbour’s bank card and treated himself to Domino's Pizzas worth £6000 pounds.
The incident is of Belfast, Ireland, where the 24-year-old, not only stole his dead female neighbour’s bank card but also failed to notify anyone about his death for more than two years.
The man named Robert Sharkey broke into Marie Conlon’s house in August 2015 and stole her bank card after realising she was dead. He then used the card to pay his phone bills, buy groceries and spent 6000 pounds on Domino's Pizzas, reported Metro UK.
Conlon was found by police in the bedroom of her house in West Belfast on October 2017. According to the police, she was dead since January 2015.
Sharkey admitted that he broke into Marie’s house and stole items of his use like tools, coffee mug and cash.
He was held for preventing the lawful cremation of the corpse.
As per reports, the amount that the man spent solely on Pizzas from Domino's was £ 5,988.39.
Court will announce its verdict on Sharkey’s punishment on October 12.
