Viral Sach: Did the Samajwadi Ambulance staff tell patient’s mother to clean the vehicle?

New Delhi: A picture is going viral in which a woman is seen cleaning an ambulance run by Uttar Pradesh’s Samajwadi Party (SP) government. It is being claimed in the message that woman’s son was admitted in the hospital with burn wounds and hospital workers forced her to clean the ambulance before letting her in to meet her ailing son. When ABP News investigated the picture, we found that the incident was of August 22, 2014. After the picture surfaced, health department had probed the entire matter. The incident is of Moradabad’s Chajlait’s Bibipur village. Salma’s son Sharafat had sustained burn injuries Health department said Salma’s relative had said that ambulance had vomit on it. She herself wiped the vehicle. The staff of the vehicle had not told her to clean the ambulance. We talked to Salma’s family and they also said that staff had not told her to clean the ambulance.
