Mumbai: Since Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, this is the first time ever that someone from his family will be interrogated in the Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) office in Mumbai. The ‘Dil Bechara’ actor’s Mumbai based sister Mitu Singh has arrived at the ED’s office for recording her statement. Rhea Chakraborty was summoned by the ED for almost 11-long hours on Monday. She had appeared in the ED’s office for the second time while her brother Showik Chakraborty was interrogated thrice by the agency.

Recently, the ‘Jalebi’ actress has also filed a fresh plea in the Supreme Court over the alleged ‘unfair media trial’ against her. Reportedly, she said in her petition that the issue has been blown out of proportion in the media and alleged that they are examining and cross-examining all the witnesses in the case. The actress stood up on the fact that the unfortunate death of Sushant Singh Rajput has occurred in the wake of Bihar Assembly elections due to which the matter is blown out of proportion.

Supreme Court’s verdict on the ‘Chehre’ actress’ previous plea of transferring the case from Patna to Mumbai is awaited.

Last week, the CBI had registered an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty, Indrajit Chakraborty, Sandhya Chakraborty, Showik Chakraborty, Samuel Miranda, Shruti Modi, and others basis the FIR filed by the late actor’s father.
