The sub-4m Renault offering is expected to carry a starting price tag of around Rs 5 lakh, which will go up to around Rs 7 lakh for the top variant. The Renault Triber will be launched on 28 August.

The Renault Triber is expected to launch at a starting price of Rs 5 lakh, which will pit it against the likes of the Maruti Swift and the upcoming Hyundai Grand i10 Nios. Renault has confirmed that it will start taking bookings for its upcoming compact MPV crossover Triber on 17 August for a token amount of Rs 11,000. One can do so via Renault’s website or by visiting their nearest dealership. The sub-4m Renault offering is expected to carry a starting price tag of around Rs 5 lakh, which will go up to around Rs 7 lakh for the top variant. The Renault Triber will be launched on 28 August. The Triber comes with many segment-first features, including a folding second row and a completely removable third row. Both get dedicated AC vents. It will also be equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen that will offer Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, an instrument cluster with LED indication and even a refrigerator to keep your beverages cool. Motive power will come from a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine that makes 72PS of max power and 96Nm of peak torque. It will come mated to a 5-speed manual transmission as standard. An AMT is also available as an option. Renault will also offer official accessories like chrome garnishes, decals, mats, luggage racks and more. Renault has begun dispatching the Triber to its dealerships from its manufacturing plant in Tamil Nadu. The Triber will be exclusive to the Indian market for the time being.
