Nagrota Encounter: Evidence Show JeM Terrorists Were In Constant Touch With Pakistani Handlers Via SMS

On Thursday, four terrorists belonging to Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed terror group were killed in the gunfight in Jammu's Nagrota area.

The four Pakistan based Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) terrorists killed in Jammu and Kashmir's Nagrota encounter on Thursday, were in constant touch with Pakistani handlers via text messages through mobile phones. According to the sources, the police has recovered a digital mobile radio from the slain terrorists, which have shown some text messages from Pakistani handlers. Koi mushkil toh nahi (Where have you reached. What's the scene. I hope no trouble so far)" the messages exchanged between terrorists and Pakistani handlers read. Besides the digital mobile radio, the police has also recovered Pakistani handsets, and Pakistani Sim Cards. On Thursday, four terrorists belonging to Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed terror group were killed in the gunfight in Jammu's Nagrota area. The terrorists were planning a major terror attack on the anniversary of 26/11 Mumbai attacks. They were travelling in a truck on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, which was intercepted by the police at a toll plaza near Nagrota. The slain terrorists were carrying a huge quantity of arms and ammunition, including 11 AK-47 rifles and pistols and in all probability were planning something big, perhaps "disruption of district-level elections", a top police officer said. On Thursday soon after the encounter, Jammu and Kashmir police held a press conference and said that the DDC polls could be the target of the slain terrorists.
