Woman Forcibly Moved Out From Rajasthan Minister’s Janta Darbar, BJP Lashes Out At Congress

In a viral video, the woman complainant is seen arguing with the Rajasthan minister and then, being moved out of the minister’s residence by a male staff member.

In a shocking incident, a woman was forced to move out from the Janta Darbar (public hearing) of Rajasthan Women and Child Development minister Mamta Bhupesh. In a viral video, the woman is seen arguing with the minister and then, being moved out of the minister’s residence by a male staff member.

Reacting to the video, the Rajasthan wing of the Bharatiya Janta Party lashed out at the Congress government in the state. The party shared the video on Twitter and wrote, “The last days of the arrogant Congress are not far away!”

It further said that the people of Rajasthan will remove the “arrogant” Congress the same way Mamta Bhupesh forcibly moved out the woman complainant from the public hearing.

Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat also condemned the incident. He tweeted the video and said, "A woman who came to Gehlot government minister Mamta Bhupesh with a request was pushed out in front of her daughter. This government thinks that women cross their limits if they raise their voice."

"These people consider the daughters of the poor as second-class citizens. Because of this thinking, there is no limit to barbarism against women in the state," the Jodhpur MP added.

The purported video has come forth at a time when Rajasthan Congress is witnessing a crisis within itself. The top two lieutenants of the party in the state have intensified the battle months ahead of the assembly elections in the state.
