Woman alleges Spycam at Big Bazaar trial room in Kolkata

KOLKATA: Police is investigating a complaint in which a woman alleged that a Big Bazar employee tried taking her pictures with a spycam when she was using trial room of a Big Bazar store.  The incident occurred on last night, when a woman hailing from Sonarpur visited the a mall in Highland Park, South Kolkata to shop from a Big Bazaar store. In her complaint, lodged with Survey Park police station, the woman alleged that an employee of the store was operating a spycam from a pinhole when she was changing at trial room of the store. However, Bigbazaar has denied allegations leveled by the woman and said that there was no camera inside the trail room. "We have a zero tolerance policy for such issues in the organisation. The person was not our staff but an outsourced staff of the housekeeping agency. We have already fired him and initiated a case in police," the store management said. "We have started investigation on the housekeeping agency also and intend to fire them as well," Big Bazar official said.
