Well done India! Keep following COVID appropriate behaviour even after getting vaccinated," tweeted Mandaviya.
The cumulative vaccination coverage in the country has exceeded 190.50 crore, the Union health ministry informed on Tuesday, reported news agency ANI. “India's COVID-19 vaccination coverage has exceeded 190.50 crore (1,90,50,86,706) as per provisional reports till 7 am today. In April, the health minister had said that the ministry of health will wait for recommendation from the Covid working group of NTAGI to begin the vaccination of kids aged 5 to 12. The Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI) recently approved emergency use authorisation to Bharat Biotech's Covaxin for children between the age group of 6-12 amid rise in the Covid-19 cases in schools.
