On Monday, sacked Rajasthan minister Rajendra Gudha was suspended from the state assembly for "unruly behaviour" after he highlighted the subject of a red diary, saying it included information of illicit financial activities.
Earlier that day, as Gudha entered the House, he approached Speaker C P Joshi's chair and brandished a red diary, requesting that he be permitted to make a speech. Speaker Joshi was outraged by Gudha's attitude and frequently invited him to meet him in his chamber.
Meanwhile, BJP MLAs caused a commotion by waving "symbolic" red diaries.
Gudha stormed at Parliamentary Affairs Minister Dhariwal and hit his microphone as he stooped to make a remark. Rafiq Khan, a Congress MLA, quickly shoved Gudha, while minister Ramlal Jat and other Congress MLAs also stepped forward and encircled Gudha. They were observed shoving and pushing him.
Gudha informed reporters before the House convened that he would "disclose" facts regarding a "red diary" in the parliament. He said the diary had "secrets." Gudha later informed reporters outside the assembly building that he wanted to make a remark on the "red diary," but the speaker refused.
"Shanti Dhariwal stood up to speak and I went to him and said that I wanted to give a statement in the House, but Congress MLAs pushed me to the ground and overpowered me. Some of them including Dhariwal kicked me and snatched the diary from me. However, some part of the diary was still left with me," he was quoted by PTI in its report.
