Viral Sach: Sikh policeman saves Muslim boy and Hindu girl from angry crowd?
In a message that has gone viral on social media it is being claimed that in order to separate a Hindu girl who had come to visit the place with a Muslim friend, the crowd started bashing the boy but a Sikh police officer intervened and saved the boy.
New Delhi: In a message that has gone viral on social media it is being claimed that in order to separate a Hindu girl who had come to visit the place with a Muslim friend, the crowd started bashing the boy but a Sikh police officer intervened and saved the boy.
The message is circulating fast on social media and people are singing praises to this ‘saviour’ policeman.
ABP News in its investigation found a video of the incident.
In the video it can be seen that the crowd had surrounded the man and the police officer both. As soon as the police officer looks in his phone, the crowd started slapping the boy. The police man instantly covers the boy in his arms and warns people against hitting the boy. The crowd starts anti-sloganeering against the administration, but despite all, the policeman saves the boy.
In our investigation we also found that the boy belonged to Muslim community had come to visit the place with a Hindu female friend. Some extreme right wing groups when came to know about this, shouted at the girl and started hitting the boy. In the video the men can be heard saying to the girl: “you are a disgrace to the Hindus. We are going to kill this boy”.
As the situation aggravated, sub inspector Gagandeep reached the site and earned the crowd to keep off from the boy. Gagandeep and team will be awarded for the way they saved three people from the violent crowd.
The message has been certified true in our investigation.
