VIDEO: AAP councilor beaten by BJP men in MCD meet

New Delhi: Chaotic scenes were witnessed in the MCD meeting in Ramleela ‘maidan’, when BJP councilors allegedly thrashed an AAP councilor named Rakesh Kumar. The entire incident was caught on camera. It is alleged that AAP councilor Rakesh Kumar had come wearing AAP’s cap in the meeting. BJP councilors got irked with this and thrashed him. AAP councilor Rakesh Kumar said he was a councilor from Ajmeri gate. He said he just wanted to put forward his views and wanted to be recognized as an AAP councilor. He said BJP councilors started beating him without any provocation. Rakesh Kumar said he called police and that he would take legal recourse. He doesn’t know BJP workers who attacked him but said he would recognise them.
