EC Announces Date For Elections To 11 Rajya Sabha Seats In UP, Uttarakhand; Check Schedule
The election process will be wrapped up before 11th November. Voting to be held on 9th November and counting to be conducted on the same day.
The Election Commission of India has announced dates for elections to 11 Rajya Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, as the term of these members (10 from Uttar Pradesh, one from Uttarakhand) is set to expire on 25th November. The election process will be completed before 11th November.
Voting to be held on 9th November and counting to be conducted on the same day.
The MPs whose term is expiring on November 25 include, Dr Chandrapal Singh Yadav, Javed Ali Khan, Arun Singh, Neeraj Shekhar, PL Punia, Hardeep Singh Puri, Ravi Prakash Verma, Rajaram, Ram Gopal Yadav, Veer Singh from Uttar Pradesh and Raj Babbar Uttarakhand.
