Uri, JK: 9-year-old gang-raped, brutally murdered; step-mother and brother under scanner

He further revealed shocking details on the incident saying the girl was brutally murdered after getting gang-raped by her step-brother and 3 others; as her eyes were gouged out and had her private parts burnt and chest burnt.

Uri: In a heart-wrenching incident, a 9-year-old girl was brutally gang-raped and murdered in Jammu and Kashmir’s Uri. The cops have now held her step-mother and step brother, including three others accused in the crime. Speaking on the incident, Imtiyaz Hussain, SSP Baramullah district said that “we understood that someone from the family was involved in the crime and therefore we questioned a few people at the police station”. He further revealed shocking details on the incident saying the girl was brutally murdered after getting gang-raped by her step-brother and 3 others; as her eyes were gouged out and had her private parts burnt and chest burnt. Considering the way the girl was tortured, the cops suspected personal enmity. The cops further revealed that the murder weapon has been seized and the plastic used bring acid has also been found. The cops have arrested all 5 accused; including 2 minors.

During investigation,police understood that someone from the family is involved&questioned a few people at police station. The incident comes only months after a minor was brutally gang-raped for days and thereafter murdered in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir by her own neighbor.
