In a display of courage, the EO who was not scared, took her slipper in her hand and forced the attackers to flee. A case has been registered against the attackers, the complainant being the EO and other councilors who were also attacked by the supporters of Dhama. The incident took place at 2 pm in the municipal council. Chouhan along with the councilors raided a number of factories over a complaint about effluent disposal in drains and issued notice to many on finding irregularities and slapped a fine on at least three factories. Later in the day, chairperson Dhama along with her nephew Sanjeet and other supporters reached the council office and summoned all the councilors who complained against the factories.
