Tina Dabi tops again! IAS topper conferred with President’s Gold Medal
She had secured the first rank in UPSC's civil services examination in the year 2015 and now has won the prestigious President's Gold Medal during her two-year training program.
New Delhi: IAS topper Tina Dabi added another feather in the cap after winning the prestigious President's Gold Medal on Friday. Yet once again, Tina continued her fantastic streak of holding the top position. She had secured the first rank in UPSC's civil services examination in the year 2015 and now has won the prestigious President's Gold Medal during her two-year training program at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie. She was conferred with the President’s Gold Medal for ‘First in Order of Merit’ in her batch. Announcing her achievement, Tina took to her social media page, posted the photo of her medal and shared the news with the people.
Tina wrote, “I am delighted to have received the President’s Gold Medal for First in Order of Merit in my batch at the Valediction Ceremony held today, after two years of Training. I dedicate this Gold Medal to my family and my Husband without whom achieving this feat would not have been possible. Thank you for everything. For supporting and loving me, and helping me in securing first rank again!”
23-year-old Tina, made the headines after achieving the feat of topping 2015 civil service exams in her first attempt. She is a graduate of Lady Shri Ram College. Earlier, her marraige with her Kashmiri batch-mate Amir Athar Amirul Shafi Khan also created a buzz among the people. Amir was the candidate who had secured the second rank in the prestigious examination the same year.
