'They May Just Gouge Out His Eyes...': BJP MP Manoj Tiwari Says Kejriwal May Need Protection From 'Angry Delhi'

It is to be noted that two days back, video of an AAP MLA being manhandled by the part workers, allegedly over Delhi civic election candidates, had gone viral on the social media.

New Delhi: Launching a scathing attack on the Delhi Chief Minister, BJP MP Manoj Tiwari said Arvind Kejriwal may need protection from the “angry people” of Delhi who might beat him up for his deeds.

In an exclusive interview with ABP News, Tiwari said, “The people of Delhi can beat up Arvind Kejriwal. They may gouge out his eyes or break his leg. I demand security from the Union Home Minister for Arvind Kejriwal. Just four days back an MLA of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) was beaten up. If the people of Delhi find him (Kejriwal) anywhere, they will beat him up. Kejriwal will be punished for his deeds.”

It is to be noted that two days back, video of an AAP MLA being manhandled by the part workers, allegedly over Delhi civic election candidates, had gone viral on the social media.

According to reports, the incident took place when Gulab Singh Yadav, who represents Matiala in the Delhi assembly, was holding a meeting with the AAP workers around 8pm on Monday.

Amid a heated argument, angry workers could be seen manhandling the MLA, grabbing him by his collar and pushing. As Yadav tried to dash out, the party workers chased him and rained blows on him. Yadav was finally seen running away, with the workers chasing him.

BJP's Sambit Patra, took to Twitter to share the video and captioned it, "Unprecedented scenes from the party that indulged in the theatrical drama of 'honest politics'. Such is AAP's corruption that even their members are not sparing their MLAs! A similar outcome awaits them in upcoming MCD polls."

In his interview with ABP News, Tiwari took a dig at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, who, he said has started looking like former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein.

“Rahul Gandhi is slowly starting to look like Saddam. His look is just like Saddam,” Manoj Tiwari said.

This comes days after Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, during a public rally in Ahmedabad, said, "I just saw that his (Rahul Gandhi) looks have also changed. I said in a TV interview a few days back that there is nothing wrong with his new look. But if you have to change the looks, at least make it like Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel or even Jawaharlal Nehru will do. It is better if it looks like Gandhiji. But why is your face turning into Saddam Hussein?"
