New Delhi: Influenced by the ideas of Rahul Gandhi, a 78-year-old woman from Uttarakhand's Dehradun filed a testament in the district court on Monday transferring all her property to the Congress leader, ANI reported.
Congress Metropolitan President Lalchand Sharma said the woman was very much influenced by the thoughts of Rahul Gandhi and that is why she was giving her property to him.
"Munjial told us that Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi sacrificed their lives for the unity and integrity of this country. Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi have dedicated themselves to the service of the nation. She is very much influenced by this," ANI quoted Sharma as saying.
Munjial willed her property to Rahul Gandhi at the residence of former state president Pritam Singh.
Earlier in the day, Rahul Gandhi intensified his attack on the BJP-led central government over the surge in fuel prices, calling it "Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Loot Yojana".

Taking to Twitter, Rahul Gandhi shared a graphic comparing the current cost of fuel for bike, car, tractor and truck to that in 2014.
Petrol and diesel prices were on Monday hiked by 40 paise a litre each, taking the total increase in rates in the last two weeks to Rs 8.40 per litre.
Petrol in Delhi will now cost Rs 103.81 per litre as against Rs 103.41 previously, while diesel rates have gone up from Rs 94.67 per litre to Rs 95.07.
