Rajasthan Minister Says Roads Should Be Made Like Katrina Kaif's Cheeks – Watch Viral Video

The Rajasthan Minister made the controversial statement after some villagers complained to him regarding the damaged roads in the area.

New Delhi: In a lewd remark, a newly-appointed minister in Congress-led Rajasthan government compared state's roads to Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif's cheeks.

A video has gone viral on social media where the Congress MLA Rajendra Singh Gudha can be seen interacting with people in Udaipurwati, his assembly constituency in Rajasthan's Jhunjhunu district.

In the viral video, Gudha said, "Roads should be made like Katrina Kaif's cheeks."

Gudha made the controversial statement after some villagers complained to him regarding the damaged roads in the area. Responding to this, the minister turned to the chief engineer of the Public Works Department (PWD) present at the meeting and said, "In my constituency, the roads should be made like Katrina Kaif’s cheeks."

The controversial remark by the Congress MLA comes just three days after he was given the portfolio of Sainik Kalyan, Home Guards, Panchayati Raj and Rural Development during the recent cabinet reshuffle of the Ashok Gehlot led Rajasthan government.

This is not for the first time that a politician has compared roads to actresses' cheeks. Back in 2005, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav stroked a controversy when he promised to make roads of Bihar as smooth as Hema Malini's cheeks.
