‘Proud Moment For Punjab’: CM Mann As Aam Aadmi Clinics Secure First Position At Global Health Chain Summit

The CM said that the Department of Health and Family Welfare won first place for their proposal titled "Strengthening last mile delivery of drugs: A case study from Punjab."

Aam Aadmi Clinics, under the leadership of CM Bhagwant Mann, won first place at the Global Health Supply Chain Summit, held in Nairobi from November 14-16. Taking to X, CM Mann stated: "Our Aam Aadmi Clinics have got the first position in the Global Health Supply Chain Summit in Nairobi, the capital of Kenya...Also, representatives from 85 countries have appreciated the health model of Punjab. Congratulations to the Health Department of Punjab for this achievement deserves. Today we have got more strength, we will work more strongly to make Punjab healthy. Our dream, healthy Punjab."

The Chief Minister said that the Department of Health and Family Welfare won first place for their proposal titled "Strengthening last mile delivery of drugs: A case study from Punjab," according to an official statement. 

He stated that 85 nations took part in the meeting, and that contributions from four countries, including the Government of Punjab in India, were chosen for final presentation.

According to Bhagwant Singh Mann, the state government highlighted the success story of the Aam Admi clinics and how the Punjab government has drastically expanded the number of primary healthcare providers and offered quality health services.

According to the Chief Minister, Punjab's winning entry demonstrated scientific rigour, superposition of the problem statement, great clarity of solution and impact, innovative solutions, compelling case of how political will galvanised primary healthcare transformation, fostering collaboration with the private sector, and clear articulation of reforms pathway.

He stated that participating nations have shown a strong desire to visit Punjab to view the Aam Admi Clinics and learn how 84 critical medications and 40+ tests are being made available closer to families and at no cost to patients.

According to Bhagwant Singh Mann, the countries were also taken aback by the fact that all Aam Admi clinics are IT-enabled, with end-to-end digitalization of registration, medical consultation, investigations, and prescriptions.
