Punjab Govt Organises Special Camp To Settle Pending Real Estate Projects, 51 Promoters Issued Clearance
Housing and Urban Development Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian and Chief Secretary KAP Sinha handed over certificates to 51 promoters/ builders during the special camp.
Punjab Housing and Urban Development Authority on Wednesday organised a camp where it issued clearance certificates to 51 colonizers related to real estate. This initiative was in line with the state government’s commitment to providing transparent, hassle-free, corruption-free services to the residents of the state.
Housing and Urban Development Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian and Chief Secretary KAP Sinha handed over colony licences, completion certificates, partial completion certificates, letters of intent, zoning plans, building plans, promoter registration certificates and lay-out plans to 51 promoters and builders.
Mundian said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann-led government organised the special camp for the first time today to settle the pending works of people related to real estate. Another similar camp will be organized at the end of November.
He stated that the department is focused on settling the works of promoters or developers with transparency on a priority basis. He also said that an e-mail 'transparency.hud@gmail.com' was created for people to make any complaint regarding this matter directly.
Furthermore, Mundia urged the promoters and developers to extend support to the state government's initiative and provide maximum and advance facilities to those who will reside in the projects being developed. He called on all stakeholders for the all-round development of cities while contributing to making Rangla Punjab again.
Chief Secretary KAP Sinha stressed on the state government's seriousness about the pendency of any work, as a result of which the certificates were given on the spot at the camp today following the completion of the pending work of the people related to real estate.
"This decision of the government will give a big boost to the welfare of the residents and the development of the cities as well as the economic development of the state. Continuing this initiative of the government, such camps will be set up to remove the pendency of the works of other departments," a statement by the Punjab government read.
Housing and Urban Development Secretary Rahul Tewari stated that this is the first such initiative that is being carried out for the stalled works of the promoters and developers in Punjab, which he said are an important link in urban development.
CREDAI's Jagjit Singh welcomed the first and exclusive initiative of the government and thanked the government. Certificates pertaining to various authorities were handed over and feedback was also taken.
The proceeding of the camp were conducted by Special Secretary Apneet Riyat. Other prominent attendees included CA BDA and PDA Manisha Rana, CA ADA and JDA Ankurjit Singh, CA GLADA Harpreet Singh and CA PUDA Inayat.
