Chandigarh: A video of a Punjab Police head constable has gone viral wherein he was seen stealing eggs from a cart while its owner was away
The video has been posted by the official Twitter Account of Punjab Police after the matter was dealt with.

In the video, the head constable identified as Pritpal Singh can be seen taking advantage of the fact the owner of the cart present at the spot was away. He can be seen stealing eggs and putting them in his uniform pants.
Punjab Police took cognisance of the video. Sharing an update regarding the same, it tweeted: "A video went viral wherein HC Pritpal Singh from Fatehgarh Sahib Police is caught by a camera for stealing eggs from a cart while the rehdi-owner is away and putting them in his uniform pants. He is suspended and Departmental Enquiry is opened against him".
While some poked fun over the stealing, there were those who advised the department to look at the root cause of such an embarrassing incident.
