Former Jharkhand CM Raghubar Das Appointed Odisha Governor, Indra Sena Reddy Gets Tripura Guv's Post

The President of India Droupadi Murmu on Wednesday appointed new governors for Odisha and Tripura. Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das has been appointed Governor of Odisha, while Indra Sena Reddy Nallu has been appointed Governor of Tripura.

Raghubar Das was the Chief Minister of Jharkhand from 2014 to 2019. Nallu Indrasena Reddy, on the other hand, is a Telangana BJP leader and three-time MLA. He also served as the BJP's national secretary.

While the announcement was made today by the President's office, the appointments will take effect on the dates they take charge of their respective offices.
