New Delhi: Ahead of the Parliament’s Budget session commencing from January 31, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called for a meeting of Cabinet of Ministers of January 29, reported news agency IANS. This will be Modi’s cabinet meeting in the year 2023 which will be attended by Union ministers, Ministers of State (Independent Charge) and Ministers of State.

The meeting of the Council of Ministers, called before the last full budget of the tenure of the Modi government, is being termed crucial. On February 1, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Union budget.

According to the report, programmes related to the chairmanship of G-20 that India has got can also be discussed in the meeting. About 200 programmes related to G-20 are to be held at more than 50 places across the country.
