New Delhi: A suspected Pakistani intruder was shot dead by BSF personnel while he was trying to cross the International Border to the India side in Jammu and Kashmir's Samba district on Monday. The Pakistani national attempted to break into Indian territory during Monday wee hours. SHO Ramgarh confirmed that at around 03:00 am, a 60-year-old Pakistani intruder was shot dead by 62 Bn BSF near Border Out Post (BOP) S M Pur falling in the Ramgarh sector. The body is currently kept at BOP S M Pur, Samba. The officials said the intruder was gunned down near the fence after he ignored repeated warnings to surrender. "The body has been recovered and investigation started," police said. (More details awaited)
