Pakistan minister expresses FEAR of another Surgical strike by Modi government
"2019 is an important year in terms of politics around the world. Modi can make movement along the borders or even conduct a surgical strike, given his defeat in recent elections," the minister said at a press conference.
New Delhi: Pakistan fears another surgical strike by Indian Army, and the same has been asserted by country’s Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid; who said that Modi government is likely to perform another surgical strike considering their recent defeat in 2018 assembly elections.
"2019 is an important year in terms of politics around the world. Modi can make movement along the borders or even conduct a surgical strike, given his defeat in recent elections," the minister said at a press conference.
He further added saying, "Modi government has to justify and satisfy their vote bank, and an anti-Pakistan campaign is what I am expecting from them," he said.
Reacting to the minister’s statement; The BJP dubbed the same as an "admission of self guilt" and said that Pakistani minister's claim that the Narendra Modi government can carry out another surgical strike against his country, “shows that terrorist camps there are still active”.
BJP spokesperson Nalin Kohli's sharp retort came following Pakistan Railways Minister’s comment saying, the Pakistani government and its functionaries seems obsessed with India despite being elected on an agenda of making a new Pakistan.
"The statement should be seen as an admission of self guilt by the Pakistani establishment that terrorist camps are obviously not only still existing but active and therefore puts an acceptance at their end that India does have a right to protect its borders and security," the BJP leader said.
