NTRO confirms 300 phones were active at JeM camps ahead of air strikes

Indian Air Force’s Mirage 2000 fighter planes conducted air strikes in Balakot, Pakistan on February 26. This came as a response to Pulwama terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir, where 40 Indian soldiers lost their lives.

Similar number of active targets was corroborated by other Indian intelligence agencies as well that had inputs suggesting same number of operatives in JeM terror camp in Balakot.

New Delhi: Questions are being raised on number of casualties that happened in Pakistan’s Balakot as a result of air strikes carried out by Indian Air Force against terror outfits. Amid these questions Indian secret agency National Technical Research Organisation (NTRO) has made a big revelation. As per NTRO, before action by Indian Air Force, around 300 mobile phones were active at the location where strikes were conducted. This figure further strengthens the numbers being given by the government on number of terrorist killed. As per the sources of news agency ANI, Similar number of active targets was corroborated by other Indian intelligence agencies as well that had inputs suggesting same number of operatives in JeM terror camp in Balakot. Indian Air Force’s Mirage 2000 fighter planes conducted air strikes in Balakot, Pakistan on February 26. This came as a response to Pulwama terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir, where 40 Indian soldiers lost their lives. India responded only after Pakistan based terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad claimed the responsibility of the attack. Refusing to make a comment on the number of terrorists killed in Air strikes conducted by India, Air Chief Marshal Dhanoa on Monday said that it isn’t the job of Air Force to determine the number of casualties, but it is a job of the government.
