Naxals carry out IED blast in Jharkhand's Saraikela region; 11 CRPF, state police personnel injured

The 11 injured jawans were airlifted for Ranchi at 6:52 AM. The joint team was being led by the 209th battalion of the Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (CoBRA) of the Central Reserve Police Force deployed in the state for anti-Naxal operations, officials said Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (CoBRA) is an elite force within the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) that has expertise in jungle and guerilla warfare. The CoBra battalions are mostly deployed in the Naxal areas. This is a developing story and more details are awaited.
