Modern Day 'Veer-Zaara' Love Story! 20-Yr-Old Attempts To Meet Girlfriend In Pakistan; Held By BSF Near Indo-Pak Border

The youth after being nabbed by BSF revealed that he wanted to go to Pakistan to meet his girlfriend, and so he used Google Maps for navigation.

New Delhi: More often than not, one wouldn't expect Bollywood classic Veer-Zaara to resemble someone's life. But the truth is that the Indo-Pak romance of Indian Pilot Veer Pratap Singh (Shah Rukh Khan) and Pakistani girl Zaara Hayaat Khan (Preity Zinta) has continued even outside the movie theaters where couples do not let the conflicting territorial boundaries come in between their love stories. ALSO READ | Not An Inch Of Our Land Can Be Taken By Any Power In The World: Rajnath Singh Sends Out Strong Message To China From Ladakh One such incident came to light when the Border Security Force on July 16, nabbed a young Indian national at about 1.5 Km short of India - Pakistan international border when he was attempting to cross over to Pakistan through Rann of Kutch of Gujarat to meet his Pakistani beloved. The youth has been identified as Siddique Mohamad Zishan, a 20-year old resident of Khawaja Nagar at Osmanabad in Maharashtra. Police sources told that the apprehended Siddique Zishan had gone missing earlier this month following which his parents had lodged a missing complaint. Soon, the Crime Branch of Maharashtra police launched a search operation and shared the information with Gujarat police, which further shared the same information with BSP and troops. According to the police sources, the BSF while searching for the missing youngster, recovered the vehicle near Fossil Park which the youth often used for travelling. He further told the officials that he fell in love with a girl named Samra from Shah Faisal Town of Karachi in Pakistan. Both of them were in constant touch with each other through Facebook and WhatsApp. The youth went to reveal that wanted to go to Pakistan for which he used Google Maps for navigation. As per the latest development, the youngster has been handed over to the police for further investigation verification of his claims.
