Mann Ki Baat: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation through his monthly radio programme Mann Ki Baat. PM Modi began his 71st 'Mann Ki Baat' by proving good news to the nation. Prime Minister Narendra Modi says an 'Annapurna' idol which was stolen from Varanasi in UP years ago, is being returned to India by the Canadian government. PM Modi also thanked the Canadian government for provides Godesses' idol which holds high significance in Kashi's history.
"We are stepping into winters. The internet is replete with pictures of Cherry Blossom flowers, but they are not from Japan, but from India's Shillong," said Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
PM Modi Says Attempts Being Made to Digitalise Museums
Prime Minister Narendra Modi says that attempts are being made to digitalise museums and other heritage sites amid the Covid-19 pandemic, including the Ajanta Caves. PM Modi also said that now people across the country can have a tour of the National Museum in Delhi online. PM said that they are starting a facility where citizens can visit the National Museum while sitting at home.
PM Modi Lauds New Zealand MP who took oath in Sanskrit
Prime Minister Narendra Modi lauded Dr Gaurav Sharma, one of the youngest and newly-elected MPs in New Zealand, who on Wednesday took oath in Sanskrit in the country’s Parliament. Sharma, 33, hailing from Himachal Pradesh’s Hamirpur, was recently elected as the Member of Parliament from the Labour Party for Hamilton West in New Zealand.

PM Modi Says Farm Laws Breaking Shackles of Farmers
Even as hundreds of farmers continue a days-long protest against the Centre's farm laws which have been dubbed 'anti-farmer', Prime Minister Narendra Modi says these farm laws have broken the shackles of various farmers and begun to lessen their problems. PM said that youths should explain to the farmers that the new farm laws are empowering them with new rights. PM said, " Demands of the farmers have been fulfilled, the laws are to lessen their problems and provide them new rights. Now, farmers can register their complaints easily, can sell their produce anywhere they want. "
"New farm laws have the provision that farmers will get the payment within 3 days and if they don't get the amount they can register the complaint to the local SDM and immediate action will be taken." PM urged everyone to provide correct information to the farmers.
"New dimensions are being added to agriculture and its related activities in India. The agricultural reforms in the past few days have also now opened new doors of possibilities for our farmers. Committed to the welfare of the hardworking Indian farmer," said Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
