New Delhi: The burden of inflation seems to be increasing for the general public. After petrol-diesel rates going up every other day, domestic gas cylinder prices have also gone up today.


Now, one has to spend Rs 15 more for buying a domestic gas cylinder. State-owned oil companies have increased the rates of non-subsidised LPG gas cylinders.


Rates Hiked In All Metros

Price Of Cylinder Close To Rs 1000 In Patna


The price of LPG cylinder in Bihar's capital Patna has touched Rs 998. Gas cylinder prices are believed to have been hiked due to rising crude oil prices worldwide. If crude oil prices continue to rise at the same pace, the price of domestic gas cylinders may soon reach Rs 1000. 


Domestic Gas Cylinder Rate Went Up By Rs 25 On September 1


On September 1, the price of non-subsidised domestic LPG cylinder of 14.2 kg was increased by Rs 25. Earlier, petroleum companies had hiked gas cylinder prices by Rs 25 on August 18.


The rates of commercial cylinders were hiked on October 1. The 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi had increased from Rs 1693 to Rs 1736.50. It was Rs. 1805.50 in Kolkata, Rs. 1685.00 in Mumbai and Rs. 1867.50 in Chennai.
