'Weird And Scary': Kangana Ranaut In Response To Muharram Video Suggests Combat Training For Hindu Men
Actress Kangana Ranaut termed a video of Muslims observing Muharram as "weird and scary," prompting mixed reactions. She suggested compulsory combat training for Hindu men.
BJP MP and actress Kangana Ranaut on Monday commented on an undated video of Muslims observing Muharram. She shared the clip and described it as 'weird and scary'. The video purportedly shows men dressed in white hitting themselves with sword-like objects while observing Muharram, their white clothes are apparently drenched red with blood.
Kangana posted on X, "This is weird and scary but to survive in a world like this should Hindu men also do some kind of compulsory combat training? Looking at the scenarios around there is no harm in keeping your blood hot… is there?"

Kangana's Post Draws Mixed User Responses
After the clip was uploaded with this post, a few users responded by lashing at the video and some of them criticised Kangana, accusing her of inciting violence and communalism. One user wrote, "Hello @himachalpolice this woman here is instigating Hindus and asking them to “keep your blood hot” and become violent. Arrest her asap under section 126 of BNSS for intentions to disturb peace and harmony of the society."
The second user mentioned, "We used to be a country of warriors; then people taught us that only Gandhi ji and his ahimsa gave us freedom."
"And these are words of Our MP who took oath of Constitution asking to keep blood hot," the third user responded.
The fourth one said, "Where has the world come from? Every religion and civilization has moved ahead leaving behind its conservative thinking, but these people have to keep wandering back in the 7th century. They are Practicing their Faith."
Next wrote, "One should not give communal angle to a matter about which one does not have much knowledge and research, the video above is not a celebration but a mourning by Shia Muslims during Muharram. Stop doing "Hindu-Muslim" for petty politics!"
