J&K: LeT Terror Module Busted In Budgam, 5 Terror Associates Arrested, Incriminating Material Seized

This group was involved in providing logistic support and shelter to active terrorists of proscribed outfit LeT. They have been active in the area for last few months.

Jammu & Kashmir: Acting on a specific input, a joint team of Budgam police and army 2 RR arrested 5 terror associates from Narbal area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district during a search operation.  The terror associates have been identified as- 1.Imran Rashid r/oKurhama Budgam. 2.Ifshan Ahmad Ganie r/o check kawoosa. 3. Owais Ahmad r/o Kawoosa khalisa. 4.Mohsin Qadir r/o Kurhama Budgam. 5.Abid Rather r/o Archanderhama magam Following Incriminating materials have been recovered from their possession- 28 Live Rounds AK 47 1 Magazine AK 47 20 Posters of LeT This group was involved in providing logistic support and shelter to active terrorists of proscribed outfit LeT. They have been active in the area for last few months. In this regard case FIR no 101/2020 under relevant sections of UAPA has been registered in p.s Magam and investigation taken up. Meanwhile, in Sopore in Baramulla district, where an encounter is underway, one terrorist was killed at Hardshiva, on Thursday, officials said. According to details, a joint team of army, police and the CRPF laid a cordon of the area on the basis of a specific intelligence input during the night.
