WATCH | IAF Carries Out Strike Against Practice Target To Commemorate 2 Years Of Balakot Operation

Indian Air Force had conducted airstrikes at Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terror camp in Pakistan's Balakot, two years ago on 26 February. On Saturday, to mark the second anniversary of Balakot operation, Indian Air Force carried out a long-range precision strike against a practice target.
The Air Force practiced to destroy a hideout from a long distance in Rajasthan sector recently. Not only this, video of this exercise has also been released.

According to the news agency IANS, the air strike was carried out by the same brave heroes of the Air Force who had destroyed the hideouts of the terrorists in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, during actual operations.

It was the first air strike from India after the Indo-Pakistan war. The strike by India avenged the Pulwama terror attack on 14 February 2019, that had claimed the lives of 40 CRPF personnel.
On ocassion of second anniversary of the Balakot air strike, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh hailed the courage and diligence of the Indian Air Force, saying that Balakot's success showed India's strong will to take action against terrorism.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah had tweeted that on this day in 2019, the Indian Air Force had clarified its policy against terrorism of 'New India' by responding to the Pulwama terror attack.
