New Delhi: A significant dip in daily Covid-19 noted as India reported less than 40,000 new infections after 102 days. As per the Union Health Ministry, 37,566 new Covid-19 cases, 56,994 recoveries, and 907 deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours.
With this, the tital number of Coronavirus cases reocrded till date in the country are 3,03,16,897. There are at least 5,52,659 active cases of Covid. While 2,93,66,601 Covid-infected patients have recovered till date, the death death doll has been pushed to 3,97,637 after the addition of 907 deaths yesterday.

The Indian Council of Medical Research reported that a total of 40,81,39,287 samples for Covid-19 have been tested up to June 28. Of which, 17,68,008 samples were tested yesterday.
According to a provisional report provided by the centre, More than 32.85 crore (32,85,54,011) Covid vaccine doses have so far been administered in the country. The Union Health Ministry reported that over 48.01 (48,01,465) lakh vaccine doses were administered on Monday.
It said 28,63,823 beneficiaries in the 18-44 age group were administered the first dose and 91,640 received the second dose on Monday. Cumulatively, 8,75,67,172 people in the 18-44 age group have received the first dose and 19,94,410 have been administered the second dose of the vaccine since the start of the third phase of the nationwide inoculation drive.
