Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday urged the citizens to change the display picture of their social media accounts and extend support to 'Har Ghar Tiranga' movement. In a tweet, the Prime Minister said that this will deepen the bond between India and its people. PM Modi on Friday called upon citizens to engage in the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' movement from August 13 to 15, to promote the display of the national flag as a symbol of freedom and national unity. He shared a message on X (formerly known as Twitter), PM Modi underlined the emotional connection every Indian shares with the Tricolour, stating that it serves as an inspiration for collective efforts towards national progress.


"In the spirit of the #HarGharTiranga movement, let us change the DP of our social media accounts and extend support to this unique effort which will deepen the bond between our beloved country and us," the Prime Minister said.






On August 11, he said, "Every Indian has an emotional connect with the Tricolour and it inspires us to work harder to further national progress. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar flagged off a bike rally of MPs in Delhi during the launch of the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign. The rally commenced from Pragati Maidan, traversed through the India Gate circle, and culminated at the Major Dhyan Chand stadium.
