IMD Forecasts 'Light' Rainfall In Delhi Today, Alert Issued For Many States
Delhi will face 'light' rainfall today, as per Indian Meteorological Department's forecast. The IMD added that the minimum temperature was recorded at 25.6 degrees Celsius.
New Delhi: Cloudy skies and light rain have been forecasted in the national capital on Thursday. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said the minimum temperature was recorded at 25.6 degrees Celsius, two notches below the normal.

At the same time, the maximum temperature is expected to be around 35 degrees Celsius. The air humidity level stood at 85 per cent at 8.30am. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the Air Quality Index (AQI) stood at 89 at 8:05 am.
The maximum recorded temperature in Delhi on Wednesday was 34.7 degrees Celsius.
The AQI is considered 'good' between 0 and 50, 'satisfactory' between 51 and 100, 'moderate' between 101 and 200, 'poor' between 201 and 300, 'very poor' between 301 and 400 and 'severe' between 401 and 500. The maximum and minimum recorded temperatures in Delhi on Wednesday were 34.7 degrees Celsius and 22.4 degrees Celsius respectively.
Indian Meteorological Department has issued alerts for many different states in the country
We would like to let you know that The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for the next 4 days for different states across the country. A number of areas may expect 'heavy' to 'very heavy' rainfall. Orange and Red alerts have been issued for some areas. Excessive rainfall is expected in some areas of Konkan and Goa on July 22. Apart from this, 'heavy' rainfall warnings have been issued for some regions in Central Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh and Coastal Andhra Pradesh. Heavy rainfall has also been forecasted for some regions in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
