Hyderabad: Woman, 16-yr-old paramour killed husband, caught carrying body on bike

Hyderabad: A woman and her 16-year-old lover have been arrested for allegedly murdering her husband in Hyderabad. Hayathnagar police nabbed the woman, Pravallika Mendem, 25, and her nephew while transporting the body of her husband on a two-wheeler. The victim, Pullaiah, 36, was working as a junior marketing supervisor at Kodada and moved to Hyderabad a few weeks ago from their village. Pravallika and the boy had developed affections for each other, while her husband, who came to know about it warned his wife to mend her ways. However, both continued the affair despite her husband's warning. On Saturday, the boy turned up at their home. When Pullaiah returned home drunk on Saturday evening, he was beaten to death, reported the Deccan Chronical. Police saw three people on bike and asked them to stop but they did not. Pullaiah’s legs were being dragged on the road and his head was resting on the shoulder of the boy. Police, then, chased the bike, and caught the duo carrying the dead body. During the interrogation, the duo reportedly confessed to the crime.
