'Home Minister Amit Shah Tests Negative For Covid-19', Tweets Manoj Tiwari; MHA Clarifies

BJP Leader shared on twitter that Amit Shah has tested COVID negative for the virus and then deleted the tweet. However, Home Ministry has clarified and said that Amit Shah hasn't undergone any COVID test.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who had tested positive for Covid-19 and admitted to Gurugram’s Medanta Hospital, has reportedly tested negative for the virus, party colleague Manoj Tiwari announced on Twitter. Ten minutes later, he put out a tweet in Hindi confirming that he was coronavirus positive. The 55-year-old leader said that he was swabbed for the novel virus after he presented initial symptoms. “My health is fine, but am being admitted to hospital on the advice of doctors. Requests all those who came in contact with me these last few days to self-isolate and get themselves tested,” Amit Shah said. Shah had taken part in a cabinet meeting on Wednesday last, which was attended by all top ministers, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
