After trying to meet the family of victim, ABP News' Pratima Mishra along with cameraperson Manoj Adhikari was forcefully taken into a Police vehicle and asked them not to report on the incident.
The callous policemen misbehaved with both of them and failed to produce any order to bar them from entering the village.
While ABP News reporting team was attempting to enter into the village, a delegation of Trinamool MPs were also stopped by UP Police from entering Hathras. Trinamool leaders including Derek O'Brien, Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar, Pratima Mondal and Mamata Thakur are part of the delegation.

On Thursday, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, along with his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and other senior leaders had left Delhi to meet the family of the Hathras rape victim. However, they began marching towards Hathras after their vehicle was stopped near the Yamuna Expressway.
Before his arrest, the Congress leaders had a heated exchange with police personnel and asked the grounds on which they were being arrested. Rahul was pushed to the ground and sustained injuries on his hand.

The mortal remains of a 19-year-old Dalit woman from Hathras, who died in a Delhi hospital after sustaining serious injuries during an alleged gang rape, was cremated early Wednesday in her village amid tight security.
There was tension as the victim's mortal remains reached the village and people tried to block the ambulance from moving ahead.
The woman was allegedly raped in a Hathras village by four men, who were later taken into custody. Initially she was rushed to the Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College and Hospital in Aligarh, but on Monday night had to be shifted to the Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi after her condition deteriorated.
