Ghaziabad: BSP MP Narendra Kashyap, son & wife arrested after daughter-in-law found dead

Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh): Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Rajya Sabha member Narendra Kashyap, wife and son were arrested on Thursday morning after the politician's daughter-in-law Himani Kashyap, was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Ghaziabad early on Wednesday morning. Narendra Kashyap, who was admitted in a hospital, was taken into custody from there itself. Himanshi was the daughter of Hira Lal Kashyap, a former Uttar Pradesh minister in the Mayawati government. SalmanTaj Patil, Superintendent of Ghaziabad Police, told ANI that they have registered an FIR on the basis of the complaint by victim's father. "We have registered an FIR on the basis of complaint by victim's father. The FIR is registered under Sections of 498 A, 304 B of the IPC and Section 3/4 of Dowry Act," Taj told ANI. The victim's body was yesterday taken to Yashodha hospital for the post-mortem. Himanshi, 25, married the BSP MP's son, Sagar, in 2013. The couple has a one-year-old son.
