Four CRPF Personnel Sustain Minor Injuries In A Blast At Raipur Railway Station
The blast occurred at 6.30 am on Saturday, October 16, 2021, at Raipur railway station when personnel of 122 Battalion of CRPF were about to board a train to Jammu, CRPF sources informed ANI.
New Delhi: Four Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel on Saturday got injured in a minor blast while they were shifting a detonator at Raipur railway station in Chhattisgarh, ANI reported.

According to the initial reports, the blast occurred as the CRPF personnel shifting the box containing an igniter set fell on the floor of a train that was about to depart to Jammu.

A senior officer informed ANI that the injured CRPF personnel were admitted to a local hospital for treatment. "Head Constable Vikas Chauhan has suffered serious injuries as he was holding the box when it accidentally fell on the floor. The other three personnel sustained minor injuries and were discharged from the hospital after first aid. They have boarded the train," the officer was quoted by ANI in its report.
"Senior officers of CRPF and local police have reached the railway station. A probe has been launched into the incident," he further adds.
