Former UP CM ND Tiwari's son Rohit Shekhar Tiwari brought dead to Delhi hospital

As per information received, Tiwari was brought dead to New Delhi’s Max Hospital in Saket.

New Delhi: Rohit Shekhar Tiwari, son of late Indian politician N D Tiwari passed away on Tuesday. As per initial information received, Tiwari was brought dead to New Delhi’s  Max Hospital, in Saket, by his mother and wife. As per reports, Tiwari died of a sudden heart attack at his Defence Colony residence. He was 39 years old, reportedly. As per  an official statement from Max Healthcare, the hospital received an emergency call from the residence of Rohit Shekhar Tiwari at 04:41 pm, and when he was brought to hospital, he was declared dead. “Max Hospital received an emergency call from the residence of Mr. Rohit Shekhar Tiwari at 04:41 pm this afternoon. An ambulance brought Mr. Tiwari to Max Hospital, Saket, where he was declared ‘’brought dead’’ at the hospital emergency. As per established procedure, we have informed the authorities. We express condolences at the passing away of Mr Tiwari,’’ the statement read. Rohit’s father Narayan Datt Tiwari, was a veteran Congress leader.  He was a three-time Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and served once as Chief Minister of Uttarakhand between 2002–2007. He was the only person in India who served as the Chief Minister of two states. Between 1986 to 1988, he served in Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi's cabinet, first as Minister for External Affairs and then as Minister of Finance. He served as Governor of Andhra Pradesh from 2007 until 2009.   Also watch: (This is a developing story. More details are awaited.)
