FIR filed against Somnath Bharti for abusing woman journalist during a LIVE TV debate

Bharti hurled expletives at the female anchor of Sudarshan TV during a live debate. The anchor who was in a telephonic conversation with Bharti repeatedly asked him show to some remorse but he refused to stop his verbal attack.

New Delhi:  An FIR was registered in Gautam Buddh Nagar on Wednesday against Delhi MLA Somnath Bharti on complaint by a woman journalist who accused him of misbehaviour during a TV debate. In the video that's gone viral, Bharti is heard hurling expletives at the female anchor of Sudarshan TV during a live debate. The anchor who was in a telephonic conversation with Bharti repeatedly asked him show to some remorse but the legislator refused to stop his verbal attack. This is not for the first time the AAP leader has put his government in predicament. Earlier, Bharti was involved in domestic violence case filed by his wife and threatening security guards of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). His party chief Arvind Kejriwal was in the news yesterday after a man flung chilli powder at him outside his office in the Delhi Secretariat. The attacker indentified as Anil Kumar was sent to judicial custody by a local court today.
