Earthquake Of 4.0 Magnitude Struck Manipur's Ukhrul, No Casualties Reported
The earthquake of 4.0 magnitude struck Manipur's Ukhrul at 6:14 am with a depth of 10 km.
New Delhi: An earthquake of magnitude 4.0 on the Richter scale rocked Manipur's Ukhrul district on Saturday morning, the National Centre of Seismology (NCS) informed.
The earthquake occurred at 6:14 am with a depth of 10 km. No casualties have been reported, as per an IANS report.
"Earthquake of Magnitude: 4.0, Occurred on 04-02-2023, 06:14:55 IST, Latitude: 25.13 & Longitude: 94.67, Depth: 10 km, location: Ukhrul, Manipur, India," the NCS informed in a tweet.

On Friday night, an earthquake of magnitude 3.2 struck parts of western Uttar Pradesh and Haryana. The temblor which had its epicentre in Shamli, the sugar belt of western Uttar Pradesh, hit the region at 9:31 pm, the National Centre for Seismology said. The earthquake was at a depth of 5 Km, according to the NCS.

In January, strong tremors were felt in Delhi which, according to news agency ANI lasted for 15 seconds forcing people to rush out of their homes and offices. The earthquake was centered in Nepal and measured around 5.8 on the Richter scale and at least three buildings collapsed because of it.
The epicentre of the earthquake was the Border of the Himali Village Council of Bajura and Humla's Tajakot Village Council.
The National Center of Seismology had informed, "Earthquake of Magnitude:5.8, Occurred on 24-01-2023, 14:28:31 IST, Lat: 29.41 & Long: 81.68, Depth: 10 Km, Location: Nepal."
